Response from Peppard, Stoke Row and Greys

The total to date is £3,313 with a certain amount to follow from Parish Councils and other generous donors. Sadly, a number of our collectors were not available this year, but people seemed to be aware of the Armistice Centenary and were generous. The Primary Schools and our Parish Churches also played a big part.

Circle Dancing at Christ the King

First Sunday of the month 15.30 – 17.00
Circle Dancing is for all who wish to experience music and dance from around the world with traditional and modern choreographics. No partner needed, just comfortable shoes and a readiness to find the sense of harmony and wellbeing that it brings.

Did you know that 1 in 3 people rescued from house fires in Oxfordshire are rescued from cooking fires? Or that distraction is the main cause of cooking fires?

It’s easy to get distracted – the phone rings, someone’s at the door or a TV show catches your attention. If you need to leave your cooking, even for a couple of minutes:

turn down the heat
set the timer
or ask someone to watch it for you

Appeal for Young Achievers

Do you know a young person who should be acknowledged as a Young Achiever? Perhaps you are a grandparent whose grandchild consistently helps you in some way or you are the neighbour to a thoughtful child who helps you by walking your dog or digging your garden. There must be young people in Peppard who deserve recognition for their kindness and helpfulness.
