Rita retired early after 25 years as an IT training consultant and project manager. Her work involved travelling all over the UK so, upon retirement, she was happy to settle into a peaceful village life.
She has lived in Kingwood, with her partner Phil, for 16 years but they divide their time between here and France. Rita makes valient efforts to speak French but sometimes gets it very wrong: she was once asked by a neighbour why she was using a walking stick and replied, pointing to her ankle, that she had a fractured deer!
She loves tending her garden and is also a very keen skier and walker. Rita is a volunteer driver for FISH and also enjoys using her old skills for Peppard News after she was persuaded by the late Lord Silsoe to join the new team in 2005.
