Club SC

Welcome to Club SC ā€“ Sonning Common Youth Club

We are Sonning Common’s club for young people, a place to relax, have fun and make new friends. We meet above the sports hall at Chiltern Edge School on Wednesday (years 6,7,8) and Tuesday (years 9,10 and 11) evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm. We play sports like dodgeball, football and ultimate Frisbee, make cakes, play pool, dance, listen to music, make music, pamper ourselves, create things, make things and do great things! We even get to go on trips to places like Thorpe Park, Weekend Warriors paintballing and ice skating.

Club fees are kept to a minimum in order that the club can be accessible to all.

Georgie Bird has recently taken over as Youth leader and is keen to inject some of her youthful energy and enthusiasm into the club! Having been at a similar age and stage in life as the older members just a few years ago, she feels she can be in touch with their feelings and the activities which might interest them and feel relevant. The committee is open to suggestions from the members as to things they would like to do, and will try to facilitate these ideas, where practical and safe. The Club is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help on club nights. Even if you can only spare one night a month initially, this can be fun and rewarding, so please consider getting in touch with Georgie for more information: Everyone is welcome at Club SC and we look forward to meeting you soon.
